Birflu (Influenza) Vaccination

Oits! I went for Birdflu vaccination today for my Korea trip! And cool thing about it i got my own immunisation book! heeheh..apakan, nada kraja wa, iatah nada kn dpost. Hmm, pastu i went to Apple shop coz my charger k.o. dah wire nya...then me n mum went to Mamih for lunch, meeting my lil' bro sana. Cewah, nada lg payah ambil him from school, jmpa ja tarus. Hrp maklum, org belesen udah...kehkeh. Nothing much is happening.

To be honest, i was a bit disappointed that David Cook performances  lack that oomph or X Factor in comparison to the other David. I actually predict that David Archuletta will win this idol regardless if im a strong supporter of David Cook. Its mostly because young david is young and adorable, most teen girls and mommies are just smitten by that cuteness-basically large target group. On the other hand, Cook is gorgeous in his own way, unique in his way, sexy in his own way, which could melts almost any girls, including me :p. Anyway, we'll see how the results would turned out. One thing for sure, Simon hopes Cook to win (according to E!). Exciting eyh!

Dr.King's Open House

Been away during the weekend so i didn't get the chance to write on the blogs. It was a great memorable weekend. Last Sunday, me and the group went to Dr.King's Open House @ Kota Batu. Wow...i must say it was a great place to live. The view is amazing as it outlook to the beautiful scenery of Kg.Ayer, an advantage of having a house on top of the hill. Somehow, i feel like i was not in Brunei at all. Nice place indeed. We went to help Dr.King a bit, preparing the food, took "couple" of shots of ourselves (of course), played around a bit and it was a great gathering. Everyone of 3rd year was there, there are few guys from 1st year and couple from the 2nd year as well as Kenny (of course!). The lectures came a bit later. Around 1:30pm, we decided to leave as we're going for Sunset Beach BBQ after that in Panaga Seria. Before leaving, we took last few group photos with Dr.Mas, Prof.McCrorie. Sedih eyh...

It was another great "emotional" memorable fun activities as well. I drove to KB myself, accmpanied by Zaty coz I'm planning to leave KB on monday, unlike the rest. Everyone of my batch was there too (even Zaty!!!)...For the first time i think. Going to KB brought a lot of "rollercoaster" emotions. It was weird being back, i guess because you tend to reminisce the past. Anyway, food was AMAZING! Had a lot of BBQ stuffs - chicken, sausages, corns, prawns (not that i gt dchance to eat them anyway), potatoes, mixed chicken stick with capsicum thingy (i don't know wat its called), marshmallow, lambs and a lot more. It was a great fun. The idea of having the BBQ was so that everyone got the chance to spend time with Sonia before she leave to Spore. Few of us decided to spend the night in KB so we could send Sonia off to Miri. Me and Seit went to stay over at Edah's place while the rest stayed at JJ's. At night, we all went to watch midnight horror movie, which unfortunately I have seen. It was a bit...boring to me. Somehow everyone was too serious and tooo engrossed watching the stupid movie. I guess it's because they all feel tired. It was a long day afterall. I am glad that i stayed at Edah coz i think we had more fun there. We girls played fashion show, tried on Edah's clothes, took photos and before sleeping, we had a lil', a rather sad, bedtime stories.

Sending off Sonia

Ahahahahhaa. LMAO. This was a hilarious one. We overslept when we were supposed to be ready at 6am. JJ was already honking downstairs but we 3 just woke up. Funny thing was that all 3 of us don't know what to do at that point that we were just staring each other. Edah's panicking, holding her ringing mobile, Seit was panicking looking guilty because she was supposed to put the alarm on and me? ahahha, i was just looking at them cluelessly, half-drowsy, still out of zone to panic. LOL. In the end, JJ just asked us to wash up a bit and skip our shower. So, we panickly brush our teeth together, changed our underwears and clothes...and have our makeup in the car. HAHAHAHHA. That was a FIRST for ME-NOT showering. Sonia's leave off at around 7:30am. After that, we all went for breakfast and chill at Nellie's place for a while, before shops open. We shopped and lunched at Parkson before leaving back to KB. Memorable indeed...Hehee. In between, a lot of funny stupid things happened which can only be shared through Photos. 

After Miri

Rest, went out to buy fritters stuff, packing up, played with baby Zafran and gossiping. Me and Seit left KB around 6:30pm. I'm glad that Seit was there to accompany me otherwise i would just be bored. After 1 half hour driving, we were back in Bandar. I sent off Seit back to her place in Lambak.

Nadzir's and Azza Bday Suprise

I went straight to Ideal in Bandar to celebrate Nadzir's and Azza's Bday. Me and my MPP friends have been planning the suprise for a while. I was a bit "out of tune" that time because i got a call from Nadiah who told me Dr.Mas have not received my PPD Portfolio. ARGH! I sent mine to Dr.Roselina on Sat actually and she told me she had already mailed to IM. So you know how panic i was but thank god Nadiah was there to help me forward the mail. Phewww.... Anyway, i was feeling better after settling the "acutely-manic" incident. I am glad i decided to go to Ideal as i got the chance to finally meet my xMPP friends again - Bday girl and boy, Nisah, Ali, Abu, Nuh, Hj.Fakhrul and Abu's friend were there last night. After Ideal, we went to hangout at Mamih and waited for Leeda to come and join us. It was great seeing and hanging out with them, mcm lama dah rasanya inda jumpa. :D I'm happy~

PPD PORTFOLIO

Hmm...I still have my PPD portfolio to complete and hand-over by Monday. So, technically, my exam IS NOT over yet. But hey, i've completed one, did half for the other 2 and just need to write out 1 more, so in total i need to work on about one half of my work! =D

OSCE and EXAMS

Overall, it was ok. Just ok. Better than the written paper of course. Most of the time I just don't have enough time to finish presenting my examination and history findings. Skill wise, i didn't get to finish inserting my IV-Cannula, that station was horrible. 5 minutes??? Seriously? With no assistant? I took 4 minutes just to set up my equipments, by the time i just inserted the cannula, the timekeeper has already blown his/her whistle. What are they thinking??? Other station like testing for patient's capacity to consent- oh dear, instructions are super duper long and i didn't even get what we're supposed to do. Did we actually do this during patient care? The question is appropriate, but they could have make it clear on what we're supposed to do. Sigh... I can't remember what else. In general, i could feel that they're testing on the things that we've learnt throughout the 3yrs course. It was well planned.

AFTER EXAM

Professor McCrorie treated us dinner at the Empire Atrium Restaurant. All 15 of us were there as well as Dr.Angela, our dean Dr.Mas, our lecturers Dr.Nurol, Dr.Liz and our favourite tutors/friends Kenny and Mariah. There's also another visiting lecturer from Manchestor Uni too. Anyway, the buffet was great except for the desert sections-cakes were not that wonderful. It was really great to have everyone there and i could feel how proud the lecturers are of us, after all it is their first project and i could say for all of us, we were quite honored to be the "lab-rats"..ehee. Tsk tsk tsk..After dinner, some of us went to De-Royalle Cafe at bandar to chill while few went to watch Iron Man and the rest went home. At the cafe, Jon was talking about the activities that we should do during the weekend. Oh dear, that guy ah, he couldn't let us have our holiday..lol.Basically, just checkout what he had planned for us:

Well see how packed the schedules are...I didn't attend the thursday activities. Just wanted to get some rest and when i wanted to go for netball, the weather was hazardous. Instead, last night i just went for dinner with my family at Swensens =D Today's plan was to finish off PPD report so meaning I wouldn't be joining any of the day activities. I planned to go Excapade for dinner though, been craving for it since exam week. Hmm, for the rest, i haven't decided yet coz i have my own holiday schedule as well (yeap, im a freak like Jon too :p) but i AM definitely going for the open house and KB Sunset Beach BBQ and Miri trip. I've asked for consent from my parents and its a...GREEN LIGHT! Yippee~

Anyway, i will upload all the pictures once i have them. Haven't collected any. Ayt, need to finish my report!

Waaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!! OSCE's tomorrow!!!

I'm freaking out coz for once i think im out of practise. I don't have enough time to go through all the notes from all the 3 yrs and the scariest part is that i don't have anyone who is willing enough to be my so-called patients @ lab rats @ home. For once this time i didn't stay at Rimba, otherwise i will have the kids with me to practise. I know guarantee they will be more than willing to offer themselves as my "lil' patients"

Sigh...A BIG sigh...

Hope tomorrow will be alright. I'm looking forward to finish this exam. After that, its all about FREEDOM!!!!! Yuhuuuuu~~~~
