Reminiscing...

Thursday!!! It's PBL Day!!!

Lyk always, haven't finish SDL-ing for the PBL in the afternoon..*sigh* That's not the highlight of the story btw, it was the Studio Class/Group Photo Session i was anticipating and looking forward to. We have been planning this actually since year 1 but never did manage to find time for it, if we do, few were MIA. We had OC lecture that morning before the photoshoot. We then went straight to Gadong, Superb Photo Studio (i think), spend almost 1 + plus waiting for our dear Nad to arrive, then the photoshoot started. It was F.U.N. indeed. We did 3 different pose: Formal, Semi-formal and Free-style Poses. A lot of my friends like the Free-Style one simply because it really shows our group personality and dynamic. The girls told me they like me in that photo, i have no idea why. 8ah said coz i stand out from the rest because they never / rarely see me smile showing my teeth whenever i took pose..ahaa. Maybe. When i looked at the photo..mmm, im not sure it was my best pose, but hey, Sonia
said just take the compliment, be Thick-Skin lyk her..lol!

The free-style pose

After the shoot, we went to McD for early lunch. Typical of us, the photo shoot session still carries on, haha..we don't need to be professional photographer to take our photos, we are already PRO. During PBL, we showed the photo to our facilitators. Most of them like the Semi-Formal one. At first I didn't think that pose was one of the best ones, but after a while, looking at it closely..hmm..yea, its actually the best one. So, yea, i think it's my favourite one.

*sigh* Memories...starting to flashback all those memories we had as a group. Together, 15 of us make a Good, Nice, Happy Family. I mean, of all the 3 batches, we had the best group dynamic, even our dean think so.

For 3 years now we've been together as a group, the 1st cohort of the newly-established Health Science program, we were back then and still at the present time considered as the experimental "guinea pig" group. The 15-members cohort was the first group ever to be exposed to Problem Based Learning (PBL) and medical school curriculum. Damn, we've gone through soo much, hell yes, we did. From the very first Mini-OSCE interview before we were even accepted, the Induction week where we were starting to get acquainted with each other, getting and wearing our White Coat, first placement to Health Centres/RIPAS, going to labs with our Blue Coat, afternoon lunch outs, movie plans, sitting for exams, surviving OSCE for 5 semesters, doing SSM research that we didn't even think we were capable of doing before, participating in endless IM functions, having our 1st juniors, organising IM first ever biggest event-IM Charity Evening for SMARTER @ Amphitheatre and the list goes on..

Beautiful memories they are indeed...
