Lil Reunion with "U" Class Girls

Yeehaw!!!

Last Sat, I coincidently met and reunited with few of my former classmates back from MS. I found the girls @ one of the Arcade at the Mall Gadong. We girls went all the way back, geeking in the same class for 3 years, from Form 1 until Form 3, the "U" Class (as in U from BRUNEI). I was so surprised and excited meeting the girls. That time I met Ditta, Tika, Liyana, Hanani and Mellie. I've bumped into the rest of the girls from time to time but Mellie, wow, its been like 3/4 years now because the last time I saw her was after PU2@Upper 6th Form. It was amazing and exciting meeting the girls again. Though each one of us look different in one way or another, but they are still the girls I knew back then. What a great reunion indeed...

Looking forward to our lil' hangout session on Wednesday.
Yippee!

Digi Scrapping Again

It took me a week to complete this piece. It wasn't originally like this. I accidentally deleted the old one, was planning to show it, but yea, it was really "tasteless". Aha. Then one day... I decided to go e-shopping for free scrap materials and I found this amazing freebies scrap set - and hence the scrap paper. Really love it now. I didn't bother to add other elements because the scrap paper itself is already cute and decorative. So yea, very satisfied with this piece. Phew~

This one didn't take as long as the one above. It's a template, so I only have to edit the pictures - contrasts, level, brightness and all that. I really love this template, I wish I am that creative to make my own, as good as this one. One day I will :P

Kreativ Blogger Award

Hey ya all~~~

Guess what!? I've been nominated by my dear primary school childhood bestfriend, Tutty@ByBy with Kreativ Blogger Award!!!

Honestly, I've no idea, no clue-whatsoever nor did I ever heard about this award. But to be nominated as one of the creative blogger is very surprising and amazingly honourable simply because I have only started doing a lot of photoshopping and digital scrapping for about one months. Regardless, I am deeply humble. Wicked~~~

With this nomination, comes the rules:
1) The winner may put the logo on her/his blog
2) Put a link to the person you got the award from
3) Nominate 6 other bloggers
4) Put their links
5) Leave a message for your nominees.

And So...Farah has decided to nominate:

Just so you know, I really don't have any idea what this award requires. However, if it is up to me, I am basing my picks on their "creativity" to make their blogs what I consider "bankable" and "entertaining" in whatever form/way it may be. So, congrats peeps !

:D

Why So Serious?

Review:
Owh. My. God.
Freakingly.
Awesome.

So Far ...

Scholarship stuff so far...

I collected this NEW passport last Sat. It looks so high-tech and cool that I have to put this on the blog. Haha, geeky indeed. But I was disappointed though that the number's changed! And because of this, I need to change everything that I've done so far to settle the scholarship stuffs including re-new financial guarantee and Cert.of Good Conduct and inform the bank. And because of this new passport, I have to wait and delay my VISA application as well. What a bummer.

Owh I should have posted this way way back when I have it (just for fun of course =P). It's my Xray, which was taken for the medical fitness. Owh and its normal too :D

Life so far...

I have a new portable laptop table thingy (I don't know what it's called). But its super cool because now I can geek with my laptop on my bed comfortably! kekeke :P. Geekily wicked~~~

This is a view of Bunut street at 1am.I took this while I was driving (PLEASE DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME) back home from watching movie. I'm soo gonna miss this - the cucul, the street, driving and everything. I was watching back-to-back movie with yoshie yosh - liat Kuntilanak 3 (with bro, Martha and Shaz) and Dark Knight (for the second time-ahaa, I SOOOO LOVE HEATH LEDGER~~~). Anyway, it was really fun la. Actually it was quite funny, early on we didn't plan to watch the movie with the 3 stooges (kekeke), they saw me at Mall hoping that they could "skodeng" or catch me if I am on a date (Aha! Yea right!). LOL. Cute. Anywho, yea, fun fun fun night.

IM Family so far...

Last Sat night, we organised a farewell dinner at Charcoal for Nadzir who is leaving off to Canada this coming Sunday. Everyone of Cohort 1 came except Sonia and Nellie. Some IM staffs attended the dinner as well - Dr.Mas, Dr.Nurol, Dr.Khairul Anuar, Prof.Mohd, Mariah and Kenny (of course). Permaisuri Matun, Ah Thik, Ben and Chia Wei were there too. Anyway, it was a GREAT gathering, we prepared Nadzir a scrapbook souvenir and it was super-duper cool.

So far...

I'm pretty much enjoying my life, my holiday and my remaining days here before the big day :D

Hari Bencana Alam Serumah

There's a lot of things going on at home today. And so i decided to declare today, 17th July 08, Natural Disaster Day @ Home. Before i begin, there is one thing you should know abt my house - its quite old and located next to the jungle...as in "next close hampir dekat" to the jungle.

Scene 1

This early morning around 2-3am, I saw something crawling in my room. And I thought to myself...Oookay, I got a lil' tiny company =[ erks! After some screening here and there and equipping the room with some weapons, I decided to rest peacefully.

Morning. 6:50 am. I woke up, startled as i felt something moving and flashingly-creeping on top of my head. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! F$#K!!!!! EEEEEWWW! I jumped immediately standing on my bed and I saw the lil' fren passing by my bookshelf. Damn. I went downstairs immediately, bringing my survival kits - my pillow, laptop, handbag and few clothes. Next destination - parents' bedroom.

Scene 2

I wasn't able to go back to sleep. Instead I spend the whole morning re-designing my blog. At 10am, I decided to have my shower. When I stood up, I saw the floor was flooded with water. Shit. The water from upstairs' bathroom is leaking again. And to make things worst, the water has been flooding up to the bed area --> meaning its a bad sign (it has never gone this far). So i went to check upstairs, i was right, the pipe was leaking (there has been a bit of toilet damage last Tues which I am lazy to mention here). Basically, parents' bedroom is flooded. So i spend abt 1 hr to clean up the mess.

Scene 3

Mom's back. Panic sets in. Plumbers called in to fix the toilet. When mom was busy attending the plumbers, I was downstairs, hanging the washed clothes. When i went into the kitchen, I realised that mom left the window open. And there he/she was, a "dear friend" of ours (Auntie u got ur monkey story now), on his brown hands, I saw him/her grabbing a packet of crackers. I immediately shoo-ed him away with a broom on my right hand. You can laugh all you want, but I tell you, our friend here is not scared of US human. I was glad that "friend" went away but I was a bit pissed off that he/she left a mess on the kitchen table. Ewww. So there I was cleaning the mess. Sigh.

What a day huh....

A Super-NEW Layout

Huhuhu~~~

I have a new layout~~~

And this is not just another new layout for me. This is MY OWN designed layout!!! Kekeke. Khal babe, now its ur turn, what do you think of my first-newly-designed layout? Thanks for the very BIG tips. I sooooo lurrrrve you!!!

MWUAAAAAAAH!!!

Comment on Background Layout:
Well, it took me sometime to choose the right background for the main layout (extracted from scrapbook collection). And to match it with that of the sidebars were not that easy peasy at all. It took me 2 days to play trial and error, matching here and there. I found it difficult to find a background for the centre body because I realised now that I've been using a LOT of colourful florescent and pastel colours. So the only options were to use black or white background. But, being stubborn that I am, I decided to create my own coloured matching background (thanks to photoshop gradient!). Kekeke.

Comment on Header:
I LOVE this one. Loving it. Loving it. I digitally-scraped this one. Cewah, I feel so proud of saying that :P. Anyway, I didn't think that it would really match the main layout. I was just randomly picking the colour and little did I know it would turn out just...beautifully. Aha. I am so dramatic. Owh and the font, I just downloaded one last night and this one is definitely and officially my favorite one. Hee.

Grandma is out of the MRSA Quarantine room. Alhamdullillah. She's MRSA-free now. She looked better than before, more responsive as well.

Owh! and there's a funny story about nini. According to aunty Tpah, nini was gesturing to tell her about something. It goes something like this ...

N: Gesturing money sign with her fingers and then tried to say out a name "Zaim"
A: "Duit? Zaim?"
N: Nodding...and pointed 2 fingers
A: "Bagi $20?
N: Nodding. Then she tried to say out "Ebing"
A: More confused this time, but manage to get it right. "Bagi Ebing $20?"
N: Nodding..pointing 4 fingers saying that altogether its $40.
A: "Awu bu"
N: Gesturing by twisting her blanket as if she was memarah kain.
A: "aah?" Looking more confused than ever, continued guessing, "memarah kain? parah kain?"
N: Geleng2 and then she pointed to the doctor/s at the counter
A: "aah? doktor bu? napa doktor bu?"
N: Twisting her blanket again and pointing to the doc..back and forth.
A: "Parah kain? Doktor?"
Nini looking more pissed and frustrated that auntie didn't get it...but after sometime..
A:  "Ah! Farah? Farah doktor?"
N: Nodding vigorously, happy that she got it right, and then she pointed another 2 fingers to tell her to give me $20 as well.

Hahahaha. Auntie was telling me all this (and with her dramatic action2 nya sekali) when we were at the canteen and i couldn't stop laughing! Hahaha. Amazing. Creatively intelligent. LOL. Aduhai..Now we all learnt that u can always gesture those movements if u wanna refer to me. LOL. It makes me smile.

Love u nini! <3

Thanks Anonymous

Alright, I just wanna make a correction to my old post on "Mantoux Test" (it was previously called "Mantaux Test"). Anyway, I just discover TODAY that I got a comment on this post! Kekeke, this just goes to show how ignorant I am LOL. Anyway, thanks again to "Anonymous", whoever you are for correcting me. I am actually more excited that there's someone out there reading my "not-so-exciting" post! Ehe...

Attempt #2

Couture for myself

It took me days to complete this because I'd temporarily lost my creativity and simply couldn't think of what else to put to make this piece. To be honest, I didn't really like it, but hey, i've to finish what i started right? Please comment if anyone interested. Would love feedbacks :D

MOE Scholarship Briefing

So yesterday morning I had to wake up extra extra extra early just so I can use the car to go to MOE. Mum woke me up at 4:50am! Waaha~ So yea, it turned out (I didn't bother to check this earlier) that the briefing was supposed to be at 10am! So I waited in my mum's class for about 3 hrs. During those 3hrs, I managed to complete 1 crossword puzzle, perfected my eyeliner, took some shots of myself, played around with some of the kids' stuffs and have my breakfast.

Aduhai lamanya~

Day dreaming

1, 2, 3 and Dimple!!!

MOE
Saw edah in pink baju kurong and black tudong (so freaky - and I'm wearing pink too!) Nina who was walking beside me didn't recognise her..lol! Like baby Z said and I quote, "You got to be kidding me!" LOL. Waa...I think the last time I met her was before I went to Korea. Anyway, I was excited to see her and everyone else. Turned out Sarah's away in Aust while Jon's still in KL so their mummies came to represent them.

11 of us were there:
The Sotons - Nadiah, Nina, Izzati and Dila,
The George's - Chun, Hsien, Sarah's and Jon's mummies
The Glagowians - Me, Syuk and 8ah

The 3 Soton's beautiful docs-to-be

The 3 Dudes reunion + Dila

Sarah's (L) and Jon's (R) mummies

The briefing was about 2 hours. The officers were really nice and helpful (and funny too!). Enthusiastic about us being the 1st cohort of medical students being trained in IM UBD to be given this scholarships, they felt that the contract-signing should be publicise to the public. If we do succeed (amin!), it will further proves that UBD is as highly and equally standardised and recognised as the Uni overseas. The fact that we passed and graduated from UBD already says it all. So, do NOT underestimate our local uni! PEACE :D

So there are just few things left to be settled:
1) Visa application
2) Renew my passport
3) Get my Gynae report
4) Open HSBC Account (which I did today)
