Back with a new template, i'm so jealous looking at khal's and nina's blog that i wanted a new blog layout. I'm back to my dark theme again...so tired of matching colours here and there, baik tah semua dark. LOL. Anyway, this is not over yet, more to come. Still learning, so Khal babe, can u please ajar me how to make the divider again? Thanks :P and also the signature at the end of every post? Super thanks :P

Okay, so what's happening today : 

• I have lecture this afternoon, or what the faculty called "The Afternoon Integration". Just checked the programme, sounds alright plang, not like previous lectures. I'll update later.
  
• I wanna go shop for stuff (minute stuffs) for Halloween. I already figured out my costume, won't be mentioning it here pasalnya ada orang atu kan, dari BruScot terjumpa my blog. So, if u're reading this, u'll know on 31st :P
• I wanna reorganise my photos. Too many, i need to transfer them all to one folder into my ext drive. I don't know why i bother to tell u this but yea, mun udah ku kan menaip, mls ku g stop. My Ibook is getting slow, need to make them fast so I can photoshop and scrapbook easily :D
• A mental reminder: I need to check on ryanair.com to book and buy my ticket to Spain this Dec, I should have done this a week ago, apparently there are a lot of promotion and tickets are cheaper now. Later I will. Owh and with that, need to inform Jon because he's the mastermind.
• I want to show off my new MSN skin on my acer. Later i post the pic.
• I have posted more pictures on facebook. Check below for the links.
• I want to watch my prison break. I have finished downloading the new episodes but never got the chance to watch because everytime at night, Ill end up facebooking / playing Rockband. So, tonight is a must.

Halloween Party~~~

This Fri, we're having halloween party~~~

I'm soooo excited coz maklum, inda pernah dress up and play costumes and all that. So, for me and edah, it's like a very big deal. LOL, awu lame sangat. Anyway, can u believe it, the committee even set up awards for the Best Costume and Sexiest Costume! LOL. Coolness.

Its Cold!!!!

It's FREAKING COOOOOOOLD!!!!!

I had a very super duper long day today. I haven't told u guys, im in my "real" induction week already - meaning this time its like orientation for 3rd year, and the difference is that we are with the rest of the 250+ 3rd yr students. I'm excited, ecstatic and looking forward to this one because at least now, it's for real. Plus, dapat cuci mata liat2 other medical students :P 

P/S: Ada udah few handsome ones ku terjumpa..lol.

So anyway, its 2nd day of the integration week. Okay, so here are my schedule for today:-

• 9:30-10:30 - Lecture 1: Acute Inflammation
• 11:00-12:00 - Lecture 2: Chronic Inflammation
• 3:00-4:00 - Lecture 3: GP in rural settings
• 6:00-7:30 - Elective night

And, so you know, tonight, was the coldest day ever for me. They said that it's already snowing in London and other part of England!!! Jealous ku eyh..Guess what, later in the evening i discover that tonight's temp is 0 degree celcius!

It's Friday. Got my parcels today! Wow...nanah, banyak jua kropok ah! 2 boxes are filled with junk food! Ahaha, regardless, thanks nah. First kropok i attack was Chickadees :D and I'm proud to tell u nanah, that aku makan maggi kari tadi dengan bawang goreng nanah yang masih lagi rangup LOL and yes, Khal, i got ur honey choc cornflakes :D nyummmmmms, thanks babe! So, dear Family, I'm happy to announce that all the stuffs you sent are all in good condition, well and healthy :). 'ma kasih banyak2~~~

Medical Jargons revealed...

• 3/52 = 3 weeks
• exacerbating factors = anything that makes it worst
• radiation = spreading eg: the chest pain radiates (spread) to the left arm
• hemoptysis = coughing out blood
• sputum = phlegm (dahak)
• hx = history
• DM = Diabetes Mellitus = High blood sugar level (Kencing Manis)
• HTN = Hypertension = High Blood Pressure (Tinggi Darah)
  

Unwell...

Me as a patient:

I've not been feeling great for the past one week. My cough, which I have been having for almost 3 weeks now, has gone worst such that it has become a productive one, yellow greenish phlegm but no blood. I've been feeling nauseous and vomiting after every coughing episodes. Today, for once, I feel dehydrated. And to make things worst, I got gastric some more after all that vomiting. Didn't think the coughing will go this bad. Could it be the weather? A doctor, who was once my lecturer, told me that it might be a mild asthma...:S erks, my asthma is back? No fever what-so-ever neither do i'm in pain.

Me as a medical student, analysing:

• Main Presenting Complain - 1) coughing episodes 2) Vomiting
• Onset - 3/52
• Character - productive (1/52) with yellow green sputum, no hemoptysis
• Radiation - no chest pain
• Associated Symptoms - 1) Nausea & Vomiting 2) Gastric pain
• Timing - on and off
• Exacerbating Factors - Worst on exertion, at nights, early morning and on exposure to very cold weather
• Relieving Factors - Didn't take anything to relieve, cough relieves on resting
• Severity - it affects my sleep

History of PC

• No previous hx of similar complain
• 4 weeks ago - Had sorethroat, cold and mild fever that last for a week

Further History

• Vomiting - no blood, vomitus of previous meal, variable amount depending on severity of coughing episodes
• Gastric - usually happens after the coughing fit and vomiting episodes, of moderate severity, still able to walk and do work
• No sore throat, chest pain, hemoptysis, no fever

Medical History

• Previous hx of asthma since child, resolves as I age
• Hormonal Imbalance disorder
• No allergies except to prawns :(

Past Surgical History

• No previous operation

Drug History

• Didn't take anything for the cough or other symptoms
• No drug allergies
• On hormonal therapy

Family History

• FH of DM, HTN, Asthma, Eczema

Social History

• Doesn't smoke or drink
• No pet
• Cough has been affecting my sleep, sometime disturbing what I was doing

ICE

• Ideas - Thinks it's mild asthma triggered by the cold weather, and the vomiting episodes could be due to gastric pain which can be worsened by the coughing fit
• Concern - fear that it might be more than just asthma and if it is asthma, hope it won't be serious
• Expectation - that it will soon be gone, and i know, i have to get anti-tussives meds

Soo..if there's any medical student, jnrs, snrs, doctors, anyone who can help me hypothesise and diagnose my problem, please do leave me a comment/msg yea :D

I shall now get some rest~

So.... I haven't been posting up on my blog. But i think..yes, i think, my photoshopping mood is back. Im working on something new for this blog..lol. Buring dah ku meliat LOL. I have so many things to talk about, but sooo tired to post it up. I rather put the pics up..hehe.

Ok ok .. so wat have i been up to lately? In points form saja pakah...indaku ngalih2 type byk. Kekekeke :P

• Attended another open house held by the girls from Strathclyde. Fun fun fun. Nanti ku upload pics pasal our  camera died on us that day and I'm still waiting for people to tag me on Fb.
• Went out for lunch @ Tawa with Syuk, Nizam and Edah but unfortunately no buffet. Bummer, so apa boleh buat, ala carte saja. Menahan air liur kami meliat price ala carte nya LOL. Sharing tah kami...
• Mommy's PC baik udah!!! Yeaa~ finally got to chat with her, haven't got the chance to webcam with her yet tho' but yea, at least can talk to her. Miss u mom~
• Been busy facebooking. Hahahaha.

• Believe it or not, I am still in my induction week, so I am still "holidaying"...:P
• Geeking...on rajin days :D

Walk in the park...

This was supposed to be uploaded a while back. I think it was the 3rd week after we arrived or something. Me and E decided to go for a walk to the garden, it was sunny! Too bad we didn't get to finish our tour around the garden because it started to rain 5 minutes later. BooHoo.

Umbrella is now my new bestfriend..

Di pagi raya~~~

Terkenang keluarga di Brunei~

Menyambut raya bersama sahabat karib...

Takbir with tears....

Last night, we had a small gathering with the Engineering students from Brunei untuk sama2 melaungkan takbir raya on the night before Raya. It was really sad for me, listening to takbir makes u reminisce...teringat how it was like masa malam raya, helping mum out, potong kek, sediakn biscuits dalam kaca2, and the boys would be busy cleaning up the house, pasang cucul, helping out dad. Dengar takbir made me cry coz tekenang allahyarham nini laki, yang bru ja passed away. 

Going back home, I  turned on raya songs and went teary again..while studying for tutorial. Makan popia sama jagus..wawawawa...sedih nyer. 

Today, it's raya. 11:50 am. Syuk has gone missing, bejalan ya, dunno where, leaving me and edah alone dirumah. Borenk eyh, kami ani kn besalam-salaman, ambil gmbar apa. Kali MIA tia. So we both did what we do best - TAKE PICTURES!!! and yes, we are wearing baju raya ne right now. Hehehe.

Tadi chat with dad before he goes for sungkai. Knowing I won't be there on pagi raya to give my apologies and salam bapa mama, it makes my heart aches. Pa maafkan Farah if selalu nyusahkan bapa. Ma, maafkan Farah if selalu menyinggungkan perasaan mama. I wish both of u a happy hari raya :')

Owh btw - I can't upload the takbir raya..i don't know why..bummer. I'll work it out nanti..:S
